Hummels injured as Adeyemi, Özcan and Wolf struggle in Leipzig
Borussia Dortmund's hopes of securing a top-four finish in the Bundesliga were dealt a major blow as they suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat at RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Marco Rose's side were outplayed from start to finish at the Red Bull Arena, with Christopher Nkunku scoring twice for the hosts and Yussuf Poulsen and Dominik Szoboszlai also on target. Jude Bellingham netted a consolation for Dortmund late on.
The defeat leaves Dortmund in fifth place in the table, three points behind fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt with just two games remaining.

Could do little about any of Leipzig's goals, but was not convincing with his distribution.

Overwhelmed by Leipzig's attacking threat down his flank and offered little going forward.

Struggled to cope with Leipzig's pace and movement in behind.

Provided some attacking threat down the left but was caught out defensively on several occasions.

Booked in the first half and struggled to impose himself on the game.
Salih Özcan - 4
Overwhelmed in central midfield and was replaced by Emre Can at half-time.
Julian Brandt - 5
Tried to create chances but was often crowded out by Leipzig's defenders.
Marco Reus - 6
Dortmund's best player on the night, but even he could not inspire his team to victory.
Karim Adeyemi - 4
Had a golden chance to equalize in the first half but blazed over from close range. Was replaced by Thorgan Hazard after 65 minutes.
Donyell Malen - 5
Failed to make an impact on the game and was replaced by Youssoufa Moukoko at half-time.
