Baldur's Gate III developer Larian Studios has finally detailed what fans can expect from the long-awaited Patch 7. The update, which is set to release on August 8th, brings a host of new features and improvements to the game, including a new class, a new race, and a number of gameplay changes.

DLC Delayed, Focus on Next Game

In addition to the Patch 7 details, Larian also announced that it has made the difficult decision to delay the release of the game's first DLC expansion. The studio said that it had begun work on the DLC, but ultimately decided to focus its resources on its next game, which is also set in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

Baldur's Gate III is currently available on PC and is set to release on PS5 in the future. The game has been in Early Access since October 2020 and has received positive reviews from critics and players alike.
